The McAllen Heritage Center - museum of McAllen history and culture is pleased to announce a second expansion at our existing downtown location in the historic "La Placita" building at 301 S. Main
Street.
The museum will be occupying La Placita in it's entirety in order to provide additional history exhibits, activities and presentations. The expansion will be effective February 1,2012.
After February 1st, the public will be asked to utilize the facilities at the Downtown Services Parking Garage located at 221 S. 15th specifically designed to offer downtown patrons hospitality with eateries, restroom facilities and parking availability.
La Placita's new hours of operation for museum patrons will be Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm and on Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
Downtown shoppers are welcome at the Downtown Parking facility for great food, use of restrooms and parking availability!
