Italian classical concert pianist, Francesco Attesti is coming back to the Rio Grande Valley from Cortona! This Italian pianist of international acclaim appeared in McAllen last year to a sold out; standing-room-only recital. Among his generation of musicians, he is considered one of the finest interpreters of the Romantic and early Twentieth Century Repertoire. Francesco has agreed to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg Rio Grande Valley by bringing a benefit recital to Edinburg, Texas on Friday, February 17th at the Historic Edinburg Auditorium – in support of “The Arts”. Attesti will provide music by Gershwin, Chopin, Bach, Rossini, Schubert, Scarlatti and Pescetti – “Artiste Changes Lives” is a rare opportuntiy for a night that you’ll remember for decades. During his stay Francesco will also offer a piano master class for beginning through advanced piano students at Valley Keyboards Recital Hall at 10:00 am, Saturday February 18th. This master class is open to the public, local pianists, music enthusiasts and music educators. Piano students will be coached on pianistic mastery and artistry on their prepared pieces by internationally acclaimed Attesti.
