Franz von Súppe’s overture is full of martial drama and glory, and Dvořák’s beautiful Romance for Violin is a perfect vehicle for the unique artistry of Concertmaster Geoffrey Wong.
Mussorgsky’s masterpiece highlights the verve of our VSO musicians and the concert climaxes with a witty, virtuosic symphony by the immortal Beethoven.
