Get ready to creep, crawl, and discover the fascinating world of bugs at IMAS! Young Adventurers: Curious Crawlers invites young learners and their families to explore insects through hands-on activities, interactive storytelling, and up-close encounters.
Participants will enjoy a bug-themed storytime, an engaging insect talk inside the MPU Biozone Lab, and outdoor fun with their very own bug catcher kit. The adventure continues with a take-home craft, so the learning doesn’t stop when the day ends.
Led by IMAS Educators, this interactive workshop introduces children to STEAM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) through play, exploration, and discovery. Designed for young learners and their guardians to experience together, the program supports early development of problem-solving skills, motor coordination, critical thinking, and observation—all while having fun.
✨ Young Adventurers is proudly sponsored by PNC Bank, making this workshop completely free for families to attend.
🎁 A limited number of grant-funded IMAS memberships will also be available for qualifying families (WIC/EBT) during workshop days.
⚠️ Space is limited. Activity materials are reserved for registered participants and available while supplies last.
