Join us Saturday, October 24, from 6–9 PM for a night filled with live music, incredible food, hundreds of vendors and plenty of Oktoberfest fun on Main Street from Beech to Gumwood Avenues and Archer Park.

If you’ve been to Wurstfest in New Braunfels, you may already know them. Terry Cavanagh & Alpine Express bring the spirit of a traditional German festival to the stage with lively music, talented musicianship, humor and plenty of audience interaction.
Get ready to clap along, dance and join the fun as we turn Downtown McAllen into our own Oktoberfest celebration!

To create the best experience for both vendors and guests, we carefully curate each event and work to provide a balanced variety of products and food. And to ensure we do not place vendors who are selling similar items close to one another, please complete the application below as thoroughly as possible. Which Vendor Category Best Fits You?
Retail Vendor (Non-Food) – $60 for a 10×10, $100 for a 10×20
You sell physical products that are not intended for consumption.
Examples include:
- Clothing
- Jewelry
- Candles
- Home décor
- Plants

- Pet products
- Handmade crafts
- Woodworking
- Accessories
- Beauty products
- Gifts
Cottage Food Vendor – $40 for a 10×10 booth
You sell food that qualifies under the Texas Cottage Food Law.
Generally these are foods made in a home kitchen that do not require refrigeration for safety. Nothing is cooked or served on site.
Examples include:
- Cookies
- Brownies
- Cakes
- Cupcakes
- Breads
- Fudge
- Candies
- Granola
- Jams & Jellies
- Dry Seasonings
- Popcorn
- Freeze-Dried Candy
Examples NOT considered Cottage Food:
- BBQ
- Tacos
- Lemonade
- Kettlecorn
- Coffee
- Ice Cream
- Fresh Salsa
- Hot Meals
- Refrigerated Desserts

Food Vendor (Prepared Food) – $100 for a 10×10, $150 for a 10×20 – PRICE INCLUDES CITY TEMPORARY EVENT PERMIT
You prepare, cook, grill, fry, smoke, assemble, or serve food or beverages during the event.

Food vendors must comply with all City of McAllen Health Department requirements. Food handlers permits are required and the City requires a temporary event application to be submitted. If approved, Market on Main will send you the latest application. Your booth fee includes your City permit.

Vendor further agrees that upon this signed agreement, it shall be enforceable in accordance with its terms. By signing below, the individual represents and warrants that he/she is duly authorized to execute this binding agreement on behalf of Vendor.
Hold Harmless: Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of McAllen, Explore McAllen, and their employees from and against any and all claims, demands, proceedings, actions, suits, judgments, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses,, including those that may arise from Vendor’s participation in the Event, and including as well, but not limited to claims for personal injury and/or damage to property, and further including, but not limited to any investigation, legal and/or costs and expenses incurred in connection with any amount paid in settlement of any claim demand, processing, action, suit, or judgment resulting from and/or in connection with Vendor’s participation in the event.
