Scouts Workshops 2017-2018: Boy Scouts-Geology

Explore the world of geology as you learn about rock formations and rock types. Explore the geologic features of our region and the impact of the Rio Grande. Discover the difference between a rock and mineral and identify some of the rocks in our collection. This workshop meets requirements 1-3, and 5.

BOY SCOUTS: If a requirement is not listed in the description above, it is considered a pre-requisite. In order to receive a completed blue card, you must bring all pre-requisites with you to your scout workshop. Scouts will receive incomplete blue cards with the opportunity to return with the materials needed a later date. All sessions end at designated times.
