Market on Main – Vendor Application

EVENT HOURS

Valentine’s Day Market on Main (Saturday, February 14, 2026) will take place from 12:00-3:00PM.
Set-up time: 9:00 AM-12:00AM; you will not be able to set up after 12:00PM.

VENDOR AREA

Vendors may furnish food, pastries, drinks, jewelry, handmade products, art and other items to customers. Sale of mentioned items is permitted with the appropriate permits by the City of McAllen Health Department. No sale of alcoholic beverages of any description shall be made within the confines of the park, or other rental parks, without applicable permits from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Vendor Details

Clothing, Jewelry, Homemade Goods, Vintage, Other Retail – 10×10 $60*10×20 $100*

Artists / Cottage Food – 10×10 $40*Live Artist / Demo Painter $30*

Food Vendors (price includes permit/application fee with the City of McAllen) – 10×10 $100*, 10×20 $150*

*Special pricing is available for McAllen Chamber members.

PARKING

Parking: Designated parking is not available. During setup, Vendors may park along side parking closest to their location. When the market starts, vendors can move their vehicles to the McAllen Chamber of Commerce parking lot – west of Archer Park (in front of McAllen Food Park) or in the parking garage at the Casa De Palmas Hotel.

Rules

  • All items sold MUST be handmade, artisan/crafts designed and executed by the vendor unless approved by coordinators.
  • NO firearms, knives, ammunition, tasers, laser pointers, lighters, tools, food, flammable or any hazardous materials allowed.
  • One booth may NOT be shared by two different businesses or vendors unless approved by coordinators.
  • Any soaps, perfumes, creams, oils & lotions that may come in contact with a person must follow health permitting guidelines.
  • Must stay within 10’x10’ table front space only.
  • For product care purposes, no hanging items from trees.
  • Must display and sell merchandise in an organized and professional manner.
  • Distribute product samples and information within your table front space only.
  • Pop-Up tents / umbrellas are allowed.
  • Vendors may NOT leave the market early unless excused for valid reasons. Vendors who vacate their booth before the conclusion of the event may be banned from future events.
  • Smoking or Alcohol consumption is prohibited by vendors &/or their representatives.
  • Non-complying vendors will be asked to remove unapproved products or may be asked to leave the premises and may be permanently banned as vendors.

Refunds: Cancellations are non-refundable. In case of bad weather or rain, we will reschedule for a future date and your spot will carry over.

TERMS & IMPORTANT NOTICES: Vendor agrees that this document, when signed below constitutes a binding agreement. Vendor further agrees that upon this signed agreement, it shall be enforceable in accordance with its terms. By signing below, the individual represents and warrants that he/she is duly authorized to execute this binding agreement on behalf of Vendor.

Hold Harmless: Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of McAllen, Explore McAllen, and their employees from and against any and all claims, demands, proceedings, actions, suits, judgments, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses,, including those that may arise from Vendor’s participation in the Event, and including as well, but not limited to claims for personal injury and/or damage to property, and further including, but not limited to any investigation, legal and/or costs and expenses incurred in connection with any amount paid in settlement of any claim demand, processing, action, suit, or judgment resulting from and/or in connection with Vendor’s participation in the event.
